Chaplain Jesse Hales has been married for 16 years to his wife, Rebecca, and they have three children: Colton, Eli, and Lydia, who love to play sports and be outside. After graduating High School from Greenbrier, Jesse received a degree in Cross-Cultural Ministries. He has been in ministry for over 25 years, a journey that has spanned seven different states and included living overseas in three different countries for more than seven years. His various ministry roles have included different pastoral positions, counseling, disaster relief coordination, church planting, and recovery ministries. He currently serves as the lead Pastor at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Hill Creek, where he has been since 2022.
Jesse is adamant about his family, passionate about connecting with people, and dedicated to supporting local first responders. When he isn’t serving, he loves hunting, spending time outdoors, nerding out on history, sharing bad dad jokes, and consuming way too much coffee.
